I’ve checked my lighting and I’ve adjusted everything I can think of but some times my registration with my Silhouette just fails. I’m still learning with my printables so there are some early designs that have printing in the hash marks and this can cause the issue, but today there was no visible reason why I should have been having an issue. In order to move my process along I manually registered the print and when that was done I knew I had to create a walk through on how it is done.
Step 1: Recognize the issue. This isn’t hard the system clearly tells you the registration has failed, and if you’re anything like me you’ll try a few more times just to see if you can get it to work.
Step 2: Switch the registration from automatic to manual.
Step 3: Open the alignment screen on your silhouette.
Step 4: Use the arrows to align your blade with the black box in the upper left hand corner of your print.
Step 5: Print and enjoy!
